- Assist with setup and configuration of meeting room technologies and collaboration tools.
Networking & Connectivity
- Use basic understanding of networking and TCP/IP to identify AV-related connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot typical connection problems (HDMI, USB-C, Ethernet, Wi-Fi issues, switching paths).
- Support senior engineers in diagnosing more complex network or device-level problems.
Platform & System Support
- Work with Crestron, Extron, and Microsoft Teams Room devices for monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with tasks in Crestron Fusion or similar AV monitoring tools.
- Identify when issues must be escalated to senior AV or network engineers.

- Provide on-site support for employees using meeting spaces or AV equipment.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and concisely with users and stakeholders.
- Explain AV or network-related concepts in a simple and helpful manner.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of IT or AV technical support experience (corporate or campus environment preferred).
- Working knowledge of AV hardware, conferencing equipment, and cable types.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLAN basics, link states, device connectivity).
- Experience with at least one AV ecosystem such as Crestron, Extron, or Microsoft Teams Rooms.
- Ability to troubleshoot common AV and connectivity issues independently.
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Crestron Fusion, XIO Cloud, or similar management platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise AV server/application layers.
- IT/AV certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CTS, or vendor-specific training).
- Previous experience supporting AV in large campus environments.

- Involves real troubleshooting, not just room resets
- Enables growth with Crestron/Extron/MTR ecosystems
- Balances hands-on AV, light networking, and user support
- Offers exposure to enterprise platforms without requiring senior engineering skills
