CCIE Network Engineer (Cisco & Security)
Location: Onsite – Tokyo (Olinas Tower), Japan
Note: Remote within Japan is possible, but onsite is highly preferred. Hours: M-F, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM JST (Flexibility for US-syncs and after-hours changes required)

CCIE-level (Lead) | 2x CCNP-level (Senior/Staff)
Monthly rate : $14,850 – $22,000 per month
Role Summary
We are looking for high-caliber Network Engineers to join our team in Tokyo as an extension of the MetLife global network organization. You will act as the "boots on the ground" in Japan, bridging the gap between local operations and US-based leadership. The team will consist of one expert-level lead (CCIE) and two senior-level engineers (CCNP) capable of managing complex, large-scale enterprise infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Network Engineering: Design, deploy, and support Layer 2/Layer 3 network architectures using Cisco IOS and NX-OS.

Security & Firewalls: Lead the management of Palo Alto firewalls, including policy optimization, Panorama management, GlobalProtect, and threat prevention.

Application Delivery: Configure and troubleshoot Citrix NetScaler (ADC) for high availability, SSL offloading, and traffic steering.

Global Collaboration: Serve as a technical liaison for the US team, ensuring global initiatives are executed accurately within the Japan region.

Operational Excellence: Perform deep-dive troubleshooting in large-scale environments and maintain high-quality architectural documentation.
Technical Requirements

Core Networking: Expert-level proficiency with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS platforms.

Firewalls: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto (Panorama, GlobalProtect, Log analysis).

Load Balancing: Solid understanding of Citrix NetScaler (ADC) and traffic management.

Certifications: * Lead Role: CCIE (Routing & Switching, Enterprise, or Security) is highly preferred.

Design: Proven ability to create and interpret complex L2/L3 architecture designs.
