Job Title: IT Support Engineer – Onsite (Independent Contractor)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide onsite technical support for enterprise IT systems in Denver. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, servers, and networking equipment. You will also participate in hardware/software rollouts, disaster recovery exercises, and liaise with both centralized support teams and local IT providers.
Key Responsibilities

Provide user support: installation, setup, updates, reconfiguration, troubleshooting, and data integrity checks for laptops, desktops, Mac devices, printers, smartphones, and telephony handsets.

Support standard software: Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, RDP, VPN, Citrix Client, etc.

Perform hardware support: fault diagnosis, parts replacement, and preventive maintenance on IT equipment including servers, routers, switches, patch panels, UPS, IPBX, and tape autoloaders.

Assist with network and server support in liaison with central Support Level 2/3 teams.

Participate in software/hardware rollouts, upgrades, and disaster recovery exercises.

Ensure IT incidents, service, and change requests are resolved within Service Level Agreements.

Prioritize and escalate incidents based on business impact and identify root causes using problem management techniques.
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum A-Level or equivalent.

Microsoft Certified: Windows 10 or 11 (MD-100, 101, or 102).

Proven experience in enterprise IT support, including networking, desktop, mobile, and meeting room systems.

Experience supporting senior executives and coordinating with remote support teams.

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
