About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Head of Sales to drive growth in the IT Managed Services sector.
You will be responsible for developing strategies, building relationships with key decision-makers, and delivering results that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to expand the IT Managed Services client base, while balancing existing aviation sector accounts.
- Identify and target IT directors and decision-makers in managed services, positioning our solutions as essential to their operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales initiatives with overall company goals.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and regular performance updates.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven track record in sales leadership, preferably within the IT Managed Services sector.
- Experience managing sales portfolios across multiple industries
- Strong network and ability to engage with IT directors and other senior decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to balance short-term wins and long-term growth.
- Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of the aviation sector and its IT requirements.
- Familiarity with managed services sales cycles and contract negotiation.
- Understanding of emerging IT technologies and trends.
