Job Title: IT Change Manager
Contract Details
- Domain: NATO
- Location: Brussels. Full time on site.
- Start Date: April 5, 2026
- Duration: Through December 2026 + extensions.
- Pay: €465 per day
Core Responsibilities
Risk Management
- Carries out risk management activities within a specific function, technical area or project of medium complexity.
- Identifies risks and vulnerabilities, assesses their impact and probability, develops mitigation strategies and reports to the business.
Requirements Definition and Management
- Uses standard techniques to elicit, specify, and document requirements for simple subject areas with clearly-defined boundaries.
- Assists in the definition and management of requirements.
Configuration Management
- Puts in place operational processes for secure configuration, classification and management of Cis (Configuration Items), and for verifying and auditing configuration records.
- Develops, configures and maintains tools (including automation) to identify, track, log and maintain accurate, complete and current information.
Change Control
- Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based on requests for change.
- Ensures that operational processes are in place for effective change control.
- Develops, configures and maintains tools to manage and report on the lifecycle of change requests.
- Identifies problems and issues and recommend corrective actions.
Software Development Life Cycle
- Summarizes the overall process for developing new software for the company product line.
- Differentiates respective roles and responsibilities of software engineering and other functions.
IT Service Change Management
- Implements routine changes in a live IT service environment.
- Generates schedule and time estimates for IT service changes.
System Development Life Cycle
- Describes associated standards, procedures and guidelines for the system development life cycle.
Data Analysis
- Collect, analyse, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of change initiatives across the organization.
- Define and track key change performance indicators (KPIs).
- Affinity with tools like Power BI, Tableau and similar, highly appreciated.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor Degree in a related discipline + 2 years experience.
- Experience: Two years of experience in managing change request from initiation to closure.
- Certification: ITIL.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience with training of employees in new system or processes.
Eligibility & Languages
- Citizenship: NATO country citizen.
- Languages: English.
- Clearance: NATO Secret or UK Security check.
