Job Title: L1 On-Site Support Technician – Abu Dhabi
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Contract: Minimum 12 months (valid work permit required)
Daily rate: $95 - $119
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced L1 On-Site Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support in the workstation environment. The role involves resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring a smooth IT experience for end users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 onsite support for workplace incidents and requests
- Support Operating Systems, standard software, and client email (local & web)
- Maintain workstation security (antivirus) and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
- Manage hardware warranties, VoIP, and basic networking issues
- Track tickets from creation to resolution and provide continuous user feedback
- Monitor IT services and manage mailbox, call reception, and ticketing tools
- Escalate issues to L2 support when required
- Manage stock, equipment platforms, and physical installation/configuration
- Perform equipment relocation, physical changes, and application setups
- Support other teams through “Remote Hands” activities
Requirements:
- Valid UAE work permit for Abu Dhabi (minimum 12 months)
- Proven experience in L1 support or similar IT role
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, software, and VDI
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and user support skills
