Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead – Pensions Administration
Location: Wiltshire (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £52,000 p.a
Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join the Wiltshire Pension Fund team. This is a pivotal role ensuring the Fund’s administration processes are compliant, effective, and aligned with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of a robust Quality Assurance strategy for pensions administration.
- Conduct audits, testing, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to LGPS regulations and internal standards.
- Act as the technical expert, providing guidance and training across the administration team.
- Interpret legislative changes and update procedures accordingly.
- Ensure processes align with The Pensions Regulator’s requirements and maintain readiness for internal/external audits.
- Maintain a centralised procedures database and lead on quality control reporting to key governance groups.
About You:
- CIPP/PMI qualified or equivalent with in-depth LGPS experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of pension schemes and related legislation.
- Proven experience in QA or compliance within pensions administration.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex regulatory matters clearly.
- Skilled in managing change, leading process improvements, and training teams.
- Previous experience within local government
