Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SC-Cleared Field Engineer to conduct on-site Enterprise Telephony discovery surveys for a major defence/aerospace client. The role will involve completing a structured telephony survey based on the CCT Site Survey Form and documenting all relevant analogue device connections, cabling paths, and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct structured Enterprise Telephony discovery surveys across various RR sites using the provided survey form.

Trace and document analogue devices and their cabling paths from endpoint to PBX, and from PBX to server/communications rooms.

Validate connectivity and device function without disrupting the live production environment.

Engage with on-site contacts (where available) to gain insight into the purpose and use of devices and services.

Take photographs of equipment racks, label plates, and cabling (where permitted).

Redline physical endpoint locations on provided floor plans.

Capture any additional technical observations or undocumented configurations relevant to the site.

Ensure all findings are clearly documented in the official Site Survey Report.
Essential Skills & Experience:

Active SC Clearance (must be in place before deployment)

Strong background in enterprise telephony, PBX systems, and analogue device infrastructure

Ability to trace and document complex cabling paths without disrupting live services

Confident engaging with local site personnel to gather service insights

Comfortable working autonomously across secure and sensitive client environments

Familiar with structured documentation and survey reporting practices
