Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer for Data-Centric Security to design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise network infrastructures in accordance with CCNP Enterprise-level standards and best practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high network availability, supporting operational activities, resolving incidents, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a secure government environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex enterprise network infrastructures aligned with CCNP-level best practices and standards.
- Manage daily network operations, including capacity planning, software updates, and lifecycle management activities.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching technologies, including:
- Monitor network health and performance using Splunk and other monitoring platforms.
- Utilize network monitoring tools to track system availability, performance, and device health.
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution.
- Drive operational improvements and support continuous enhancement initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Lead technical initiatives and infrastructure projects.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
- Minimum CCNP Enterprise certification (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Strong expertise in:
- Routing and Switching
- BGP
- OSPF
- STP
- Hands-on experience with Splunk for:
- Monitoring
- Log analysis
- Troubleshooting
- Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools.
- Proven experience in:
- Incident management
- Root cause analysis
- Major outage resolution
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Network automation experience using:
Additional Requirements
- Active NATO Secret clearance is mandatory.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Braine-l’Alleud.
- Strong communication skills in English.
