Senior Freshworks Consultant– Remote (UK)
Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 + benefits
Location: Remote (UK-based)
Role Overview
In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end Freshworks solution design and development, delivering advanced workflows, automations, and integrations that create measurable value for clients. You will collaborate closely with architects and consultants to ensure technical builds align with solution designs, while mentoring junior developers and promoting best practices for quality and scalability.
You will also contribute to solution strategy, support project planning, and introduce innovative approaches by staying current with product capabilities and industry trends. With access to a strong network of experts, you will play a key role in driving successful client outcomes and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Innovate
- Deliver advanced Freshworks configurations, automations, and integrations
- Drive innovation in solution design and implementation
Develop & Deliver
- Build and optimise APIs, webhooks, and middleware solutions
- Ensure performance and reliability in enterprise environments
Guide & Mentor
- Provide technical leadership to junior developers
- Establish and promote development standards and best practices
Align & Collaborate
- Work closely with architects and consultants to ensure solution integrity
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Plan & Assess
- Support feasibility analysis, effort estimation, and project planning
- Contribute to technical decision-making processes
Optimise & Assure
- Maintain high standards of code quality and testing
- Implement scalable and maintainable design practices
Research & Recommend
- Stay up to date with Freshworks capabilities and ITSM/CRM trends
- Recommend improvements and new approaches to enhance solutions
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in ITSM/CRM solution development (e.g., Freshservice, Freshdesk, or similar platforms)
- Strong expertise in Freshworks configurations, scripting, and API integrations
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or mentoring developers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to influence technical direction and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Freshworks certifications (Developer, Specialist, or equivalent)
- ITIL Intermediate or Managing Professional certification
- Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, or Jira Service Management
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks
