Job Description
We are seeking a YubiKey Implementation & Security Support Engineer to assist in deploying and managing secure authentication solutions within an enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and supporting YubiKeys for end users, integrating them with Active Directory and certificate services, and ensuring compliance with internal security policies.
Key Responsibilities

Configure, deploy, and manage YubiKeys for secure multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Install and troubleshoot YubiKey drivers and middleware on Windows systems.

Configure PIV (Personal Identity Verification) smart card functionality for users.

Enroll and manage digital certificates from a Certificate Authority (CA).

Use YubiKey Manager and related tools for key management and troubleshooting.

Integrate YubiKey authentication with enterprise systems such as Active Directory.

Maintain documentation and provide user support on setup and usage.

Collaborate with the IT Security and Infrastructure teams to strengthen authentication policies and security posture.
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience with YubiKey configuration and management.

Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts.

Experience with Active Directory and enterprise authentication systems.

Familiarity with smart card authentication (PIV/CAC).

Knowledge of Windows security, certificate enrollment, and identity management.

Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
